This is a stained glass crescent moon suncatcher piece, an original design handcrafted using traditional copper foil stained glass methods. It consists of hand-cut stained glass, agate, copper foil, lead solder and embroidery thread. The glass used has a special iridescent quality that shimmers and shifts in the light - the other side of the glass is plain black.

Feel free to get creative with other ways to hang your mooncatcher, however we do not guarantee a suction cup will be secure enough as it is unreliable and will not support the weight, especially if the glass is not perfectly cleaned first.
Each mooncatcher is handmade-to-order and may have slight differences in shape, size and color from the shown image, and the dichroic stained glass may take on very different shades depending on its environment. Any "imperfections" in the surface are part of the nature of the glass. Each handcrafted piece of stained glass is truly one-of-a-kind!
