DISCLAIMER

By purchasing a piece of art from Willow Deep Studio, the buyer assumes all responsibility and liability should bodily injury occur from breakage or lead toxins. The buyer hereby agrees to hold Willow Deep LLC, the studio, owner, artist and any affiliates harmless from any and all claims for damage or injury resulting from a purchased product.

DISCLOSURE

All stained glass pieces are known to contain a certain amount of lead, whether it be from lead came used (as opposed to non-toxic copper foil) or the percentage of lead in the solder applied to seal the glass together. Lead is a toxin when handled or ingested. While a completed stained glass window hanging in a space is not harmful, one should always wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after handling lead.

The nature of stained glass or gold leaf projects framed with lead created by Willow Deep Studio are not meant to be handled excessively as they are generally intended for display purposes as custom art. There should be no negative side effects or reactions if proper hand washing follows handling or hanging stained glass or leaded art.

As a matter of safety, children should not handle any stained glass or leaded piece of art and should stay clear if any glass becomes broken as it is likely to be sharp and can cause bodily harm. Adults should of course exercise safety when handling and disposing of broken glass pieces.

As stained glass, gold leaf and leaded art is delicate and unforgiving in nature, it should always be handled with care by an adult to prevent breakage and/or injury.
